It operates through two primary segments: Oilfield Services and Equipment (OFSE), which supplies drilling, evaluation, completion, and production technologies primarily to hydrocarbon developers including national oil companies, integrated firms, and independents, with about three-fourths of its markets outside North America; and Industrial and Energy Technology (IET), which manufactures turbines, compressors, pumps, valves, generators, and related testing, monitoring, and aftermarket services for applications in LNG projects, data centers, power generation, low-carbon ammonia production, energy storage, refining, renewable fuels, and geothermal power. Baker Hughes Company delivers integrated solutions across the energy value chain, supporting safer, cleaner, and more efficient operations in oil and gas, midstream, downstream, and emerging low-carbon sectors. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, it plays a key role in advancing energy technologies for global industrial and power demands.
