OnlyDividends Is Live: The Dividend Tracker App That Turns Every Payment Into Pay Day
OnlyDividends is now live on the App Store. It is a dividend tracker app for iPhone that builds your full 12-month dividend calendar from just a stock ticker and the number of shares you own. It forecasts your income, adjusts for tax, and sends you a notification every time a dividend lands.
No brokerage login. No manual dividend entry. No spreadsheet that you update once and abandon. You add a holding in two fields, and the app does the rest.
This is the product we have been building toward for a long time, and the philosophy behind it is simple: forget about pay day, today is dividend day.
The problem we built it to solve
If you invest for dividends, you already know the gap. Your brokerage app is built to show you a balance and let you trade. It is not built to answer the question that matters most to an income investor: when is my next dividend coming, and how much will it be after tax?
So people improvise. They keep a spreadsheet that drifts out of date the moment a company changes its payout. Or they reach for a tracker that wants to connect directly to their brokerage account, which means handing over login access just to see a payment schedule. If you would rather not do that, our guide on how to track dividends without linking your bank account explains why that caution is reasonable.
OnlyDividends takes the opposite approach. It connects to nothing you own. You tell it what you hold, and it shows you what is coming.

How it works in two fields
Adding a stock takes one screen and two pieces of information:
- The ticker of the stock you own, such as
KOorJNJ. - The number of shares you hold.
That is the entire input. From there the app pulls the current market value automatically, looks up the company's dividend history and any announced payments, and places every expected payout on your calendar. There is nothing to reconcile and no dividend amounts to type in by hand.
This is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature. Most trackers ask you to manage a small database. We think the simplest tracker is usually the one you actually keep using, so we removed the data entry instead of adding more of it.

Your 12-month dividend calendar
The center of the app is a rolling dividend calendar that runs from roughly three months behind you to about eight months ahead. Every expected payment appears with a clear status so you always know how confident the number is:
- Received: the payment has already been made.
- Confirmed: the company has officially declared it.
- Estimated: a forecast based on the stock's payment history.
That third label matters. A lot of tools either hide forecasts or present them as if they were certain. OnlyDividends shows you the forecast and tells you plainly that it is a forecast. If you want to understand the dates behind these statuses, our explainer on ex-date, record date and payment date covers how the timeline works.

The dividend-day notification
This is the part we are most proud of, and it is the reason the app exists.
On the morning a dividend is due, at 8 AM in your own timezone, OnlyDividends sends you a notification announcing the payment that is landing that day. It reads something like this:
"Forget about pay day, today is dividend day. $42.50 from Coca-Cola should land in your bank or brokerage account today."
The amount shown is the tax-adjusted figure, so it reflects roughly what you will actually keep. It is a small thing, but it changes how investing feels. Instead of dividends arriving silently in a statement you check once a quarter, each one becomes a moment worth noticing. That is the point: the habit of long-term investing is easier to keep when the rewards are visible.

Income forecasting, charts, and goals
Beyond the calendar, the app turns your holdings into a forward view of your income:
- A stacked column chart of projected monthly dividend income.
- Your next payout and your projected annual income.
- Year-over-year income growth, so you can watch your passive income compound.
- Payout frequency stats across your portfolio.
- A monthly income goal you can set and track progress toward.
You also get portfolio visualizations: donut breakdowns by individual stock and by sector, which you can view either by market value or by annual dividends. It is the difference between knowing your balance and understanding where your income comes from.
The forecast is not static, either. As companies declare new payments, estimated entries on your calendar are promoted to confirmed, and the projected totals update on their own. If a company you hold raises its dividend, you see the effect on your annual income right away instead of discovering it months later in a statement. For an income investor planning around a target, that is what counts: the app answers "where will my income be next year?" rather than only "what did I earn last quarter?"

Built for real-world investors
A dividend tracker app is only useful if it matches how you invest, so OnlyDividends handles the messy details by default rather than as paid extras:
- No brokerage linking required. Nothing connects to your accounts, so your financial data stays on your side. If you are weighing your options here, see our roundup on dividend trackers that respect your privacy.
- Tax-aware amounts. A single withholding-tax setting adjusts the income you see and the amounts in your notifications to a realistic net figure. Dividends are taxable income in most jurisdictions, as the IRS notes for US investors, and our guide to how dividends are taxed explains why the gross number is rarely the one that matters.
- Multi-currency and multi-language. The app supports six currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, CHF, AUD) and three languages (English, French, Spanish), with localized dates and numbers.
- Automatic corporate-action handling. When a stock splits or changes its ticker symbol, the app detects it, adjusts your holding, and tells you. There is no manual cleanup.

How we keep it accurate
OnlyDividends runs on a serverless backend built on Firebase, with market and dividend data from Financial Modeling Prep, including prices, dividend history, announcements, splits, symbol changes, and exchange rates.
Every financial calculation and every dividend-status decision happens on the server, not in the app. The app itself only presents the result. That design keeps the numbers consistent for everyone and lets us prioritize accuracy over guesswork. Your data is isolated per user, and the app does not track you for advertising.
We hold ourselves to concrete reliability targets rather than vague promises: a crash-free rate of at least 99.5%, app launch under two seconds, and portfolio loads under half a second. When you are planning real income around these numbers, speed and stability matter as much as the data behind them.
Free vs Premium
You can use OnlyDividends for free, and the free plan is a real product, not a teaser. Here is how the plans compare:

Frequently asked questions
Is OnlyDividends free?
Yes. The free plan lets you track up to 3 stocks with the full experience, including the 12-month calendar, income charts, and dividend-day notifications. Premium raises the limit to 50 stocks for about $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
Do I need to link my brokerage account?
No. OnlyDividends never connects to your brokerage or bank. You add holdings by entering a ticker and a share count, and the app builds everything from public market data. Nothing touches your accounts.
Which currencies and languages does it support?
The app supports six currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, CHF, AUD) and three languages (English, French, Spanish), with localized dates and numbers. Dividend dates and notifications respect your local timezone.
How are taxes handled?
A single withholding-tax-rate setting adjusts the income shown across the app, including the amounts in your dividend-day notifications, so the figures reflect your net income rather than the gross payout.
Is OnlyDividends on Android?
Not yet. OnlyDividends launches first on iOS for iPhone running iOS 16 or later. An Android version is in development and will follow.
About the author: Mourad Sroutou is the founder and developer of OnlyDividends and a long-time dividend investor. Before building the app, he spent years in financial auditing at a Big Four firm, auditing multi-billion-euro investment funds and validating financial statements. That work is where the app's obsession with accuracy comes from. He built OnlyDividends as the tracker he always wished he had: one that respects your privacy, shows your real after-tax income, and focuses on the day the money lands in your account.
