The company operates primarily through two main segments: Regulated Energy and Unregulated Energy. Its Regulated Energy segment manages natural gas distribution across central and southern Delaware, Maryland’s eastern shore, and Florida, along with regulated natural gas transmission in the Delmarva Peninsula, Ohio, and Florida, and electric distribution in parts of Florida. The Unregulated Energy segment oversees propane distribution throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, the Carolinas, and Florida, as well as unregulated natural gas transmission, electricity and steam generation, and the provision of compressed, liquefied, and renewable natural gas transportation solutions, primarily serving utilities and pipelines. Chesapeake Utilities Corporation also offers energy-related services, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing, supporting both residential and commercial markets.
