Headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania and founded in 2000, the company designs, manufactures, and distributes a broad portfolio of energy systems, motive power batteries, specialty batteries, battery chargers, power equipment, and related accessories. Through its Energy Systems line of business, EnerSys supplies integrated power solutions, including enclosures, power conversion, distribution, and energy storage for telecommunications, broadband, utilities, data centers, and other infrastructure. Its Motive Power offerings serve material handling, warehousing, logistics, and other electric vehicle and industrial equipment markets, delivering batteries and chargers that support intensive duty cycles. The Specialty and New Ventures businesses focus on applications in aerospace and defense, transportation, and other niche or emerging sectors. EnerSys also provides aftermarket services, maintenance, and technical support through a global network of sales, service, and manufacturing locations, playing a key role in ensuring energy reliability and efficiency across diverse end markets.
