About Nucor Corporation

Nucor Corporation is one of North America's largest steel manufacturers and recyclers, operating through three primary business segments: steel mills, steel products, and raw materials. The steel mills segment produces sheet steel, plate steel, structural steel, and bar steel using electric arc furnaces powered by recycled scrap steel and scrap substitutes. The steel products segment manufactures finished and semi-finished items including steel joists, deck, fabricated reinforcing steel, metal building systems, fasteners, and utility structures for construction, infrastructure, and industrial applications. The raw materials segment, operated through The David J. Joseph Company, brokers ferrous and nonferrous metals, supplies ferro-alloys, and processes scrap materials to support steelmaking operations. Nucor operates integrated facilities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, serving steel service centers, fabricators, manufacturers, and downstream customers. The company has positioned itself as a leader in sustainable steelmaking through its extensive use of recycled materials and advanced manufacturing technologies including continuous casting and automated rolling mills.
