Prudential plc is a British-domiciled multinational insurance and asset management company headquartered in London and Hong Kong. Founded in 1848 as The Prudential Mutual Assurance, Investment, and Loan Association, it initially provided life insurance and loans to the UK's middle and working classes through innovative door-to-door agents. Today, Prudential plc focuses on long-term savings and protection products, including life insurance, accident and health coverage, annuities, pensions, and investment solutions, primarily serving over 19 million customers in Asia and Africa.
