The Mosaic Company is a leading global producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients. It operates through three primary segments: Phosphates, which owns and manages mines, production facilities, and processing plants to manufacture concentrated phosphate crop nutrients and phosphate-based animal feed ingredients; Potash, focused on mining, processing, and selling potash for crop nutrients, animal feed, industrial applications, deicing, and water softening; and Mosaic Fertilizantes, encompassing mines, chemical plants, blending and bagging facilities, port terminals, and warehouses for crop nutrient distribution. The company produces specialized products such as diammonium phosphate, monoammonium phosphate, MicroEssentials, Biofos, Nexfos, and K-Mag, alongside blended nutrients, triple superphosphate, single superphosphate, dicalcium phosphate, and biological fertilizers. It serves distributors, retail chains, cooperatives, independent retailers, industrial accounts, animal feed producers, wholesalers, farmers, and crop nutrient manufacturers across key markets including the United States, Brazil, China, Canada, and others. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, The Mosaic Company plays a vital role in supporting global agriculture by providing essential fertilizers to enhance crop yields and food production.
